Exercise has little bearing on weight loss

An analysis of 493 studies shows that exercise has little bearing on weight loss. Over a 15 week duration the data shows only a 0.3Kg advantage from Weight lost through diet plus exercise over Weight lost through diet.
 
Weight lost through diet: 10.7Kg
Weight lost through exercise: 2.9Kg 
Weight lost through diet plus exercise: 11.0Kg
