The raison d'etre of this website is to provide you with hard scientific information which may help you make informed decisions in your quest for health (so far I have blogged concise summaries of over 1,400 scientific studies and have had three books published).

My research is mainly focused on the effects of cholesterol, saturated fat and statin drugs on health. If you know anyone who is worried about their cholesterol levels and heart disease, or has been told to take statin drugs you could send them a link to this website, and to my statin or cholesterol or heart disease books.

My Books

Are You Worried About High Cholesterol, Heart Disease and Statins?

You must read my science based, thought provoking books:

"Statins Toxic Side Effects: Evidence From 500 Scientific Papers"

"Low Cholesterol Leads To An Early Death: Evidence From 101 Scientific Papers"

"Cholesterol and Saturated Fat Prevent Heart Disease: Evidence From 101 Scientific Papers"
Answer these questions:
  • Do you think that high saturated fat, high cholesterol diets are unhealthy and cause heart disease?
  • Do you think low cholesterol levels are good for your health and help you live longer?
  • Do you think statins are 'wonder' drugs that have no side effects and can magically prevent heart disease?

Most people will answer yes to the above questions. However most people will be shocked to find out the scientific evidence actually disagrees.

My books reveal that a thorough examination of the scientific literature shows:
  • Scientific evidence has never shown that saturated fat and cholesterol cause heart disease!
  • Scientific evidence shows that people with low cholesterol tend to be unhealthier and die earlier!
  • Scientific evidence shows that saturated fat and cholesterol are vital for good health!
  • Scientific evidence shows that statins are unnecessary and have a wide array of toxic side effects!

My books reveal the good news that for a heart healthy diet scientific studies show:
  • You can enjoy the delights of bacon and eggs for your breakfast!!
  • You can slather real butter over your foods!!
  • You can devour a juicy succulent steak!!

My name is David Evans; I am a nutritional researcher and have spent years trawling through the scientific literature on the subject of: "The effects of diet, pharmaceutical drugs & lifestyle on health".

The evidence I found shocked me.
My books expose the facts that since the advent of the anti-fat and anti-cholesterol campaign in the 1970s, obesity, cancer & diabetes rates have soared. Parkinson’s, Alzheimer and heart disease cases have shot up. More people have high blood pressure. Infertility casts a shadow on many more couple’s now. Asthma, ADHD, Autism, depression, epilepsy, intestinal disease’s, liver disease, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis and many more diseases and conditions are more prevalent now than 40 years ago.

My books describe how the headlong rush to lower everyone’s cholesterol levels with low-fat diets or by pharmaceutical drugs (statins) may be judged by history to be misguided. As well as low cholesterol levels leading to an increased prevalence of many diseases and conditions, a thorough review of the scientific literature leads to the conclusion's – low cholesterol levels lead to an early death and statins have a plethora of toxic side effects and they must be removed from the market.

What reviewers say about my books:
  • "Easy to understand, packed full of amazing information!"
  • "This is a must have reference tool"
  • "An essential read for all health professionals"
  • "If you don't want to get heart disease then you should read this book"
  • "If you take statins or know someone who does, you need to read this book... and then show it to your doctor and demand that he/she reads it"
My books are available on Amazon, Kindle and in good bookshops
