The study shows that the insecticide gene in the genetically modified maize was still intact in the sheeps stomach and may cause genetic alteration.

Roundup is the brand name of a herbicide produced by the Monsanto, and contains the active ingredient glyphosate. It is used on conventionally grown and genetically modified crops.
 
The author identifies that Roundup is toxic and concludes: "The proprietary mixtures available on the market could cause cell damage and even death around residual levels to be expected, especially in food and feed derived from Roundup formulation-treated crops".
