The results of the analysis showed:
(1) Those with lower cholesterol levels have a statistically significant increased risk of completing suicide.
(2) Individuals who have attempted suicide in the past have lower cholesterol levels,
(3) Cholesterol lowering studies, led to an increase in completed suicide.
