Methionine and Vitamin B6 Intake and Risk of Pancreatic Cancer: A Prospective Study of Swedish Women and Men
Susanna C. Larsson, Edward Giovannucci, Alicja Wolk Amazon:
This study investigated the relationship between methionine consumption and pancreatic cancer in 81,922 Swedish women and men, aged 45–83. The study lasted just over 7 years.
The study found that men and women eating the most methionine, had only 44 percent of the rate of pancreatic cancer as compared to men and women with the least dietary intake.
Meat and fish contain more methionine than any other foods. So the more meat and fish you eat, the less likely you are to suffer from pancreatic cancer.
