Severely obese women GAIN weight on a 6 month physical training regimen

Obese women were put on a 6 month physical training regime.
 
The reults showed that obese women with fewer fat cells decreased in weight during training whereas women with severe obesity and an increased number of fat cells even gained weight.

Moderate aerobic exercise training during a 12-week period has no weight loss effect in dieting obese women

The results of the study indicate that moderate aerobic exercise training during a 12-week period has no discernible effects on body composition but does improve cardiorespiratory fitness in dieting obese women.
