The Green Lacewing (Chrysoperla carnea) (an important predatory insect) was fed insects which had been feeding on genetically modified maize and conventional maize. 
 
There was a significant increase in mortality and a delay in development was observed when the Green Lacewing was fed insect larvae reared on genetically modified maize.
 
This findings of the study implicate the hazardous ecological risks of genetically modified maize, and if it can cause death in insects-what impact could it have on human health.

The results of the study suggest that the genetically inserted Bacillus thuringiensis pesticide in the GM corn feed is still intact in the gastrointestinal tract.
 
This raises the question: Is it healthy to have a pesticide in your intestines?

Roundup is the brand name of a herbicide produced by the Monsanto, and contains the active ingredient glyphosate. It is used on conventionally grown and genetically modified crops.
 
The author identifies that Roundup is toxic and concludes: "The proprietary mixtures available on the market could cause cell damage and even death around residual levels to be expected, especially in food and feed derived from Roundup formulation-treated crops".

Milk contaminated with genetically modified feed

The study demonstrated that the pasteurization process is not able to degrade the GM DNA sequences in milk. The detection of GM DNA in milk can be interpreted as an indicator of fecal or airborne contamination with GM feed.

So when we drink the genetically modified infected milk we are directly injesting the gene of the pesticide that has been inserted into the GM feed.
